Extra Space Storage - 6975 - Fitchburg- Verona Rd

Extremely secure and clean. The moving company I used said this is one of the most secure storage units they've seen. Access is fully digital.

I helped my brother and sister-in-law rent a unit online and moved their stuff to Extra Space Storage in Fitchburg, WI this week. Jamie, the manager, was super helpful in giving me a tour of how the digital access works and answering all my questions, including follow-up questions the next day. The storage area is spacious, clean, and well-lit, and the drive-in access for indoor units means no worries about bad weather or walking on slippery ice outside. Several heavy duty rolling carts are available right near the entrance. I ended up needing to call tech support with a question about the Extra Space app, and Tara was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. I 100% recommend this place for their nice facility, wonderful customer service, and great prices. The indoor storage building is much more spacious and easier to navigate than the cramped place my brother and SIL previously used. There, they also had to deal with large areas of slippery ice covering the pavement outside the entrance door to the indoor units. The icing on the cake is that the monthly fee is less than half of what they were paying for the same size unit at the previous place. Thank you, Extra Space, Jamie, & Tara!

Jaime was exceptional! He took the time to explain all the sizes and rates to find the best solution for my needs. He was further helpful by walking me through the entry system (especially helpful for a non tech savvy guy like me 🙂)

Jaime is so easy to work with! I love the security of the building and know my things will be safe here. He was able to move me to a unit closer to the entrance because of my disability issues and that is huge for me! I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for storage space!

So far a smooth transition from the previous ownership. I like the app, makes it easy to see my units, current pricing and keep an eye on auto payments. Jackie in the office is very nice and helpful. No complaints overall. My #1 favorite part about the building is the drive in bay to load and unload vehicles. An added bonus are the carts to use when hauling up in the elevator to get to the unit.
