I been renting at the storage over 2 years. It feels really safe, a lots of light at night, and the tenets are friendly. Yvonne and Jim are super friendly and if you contact them with a question or concerns, they are happy to help. Definitely a keeper.

BELIEVE THE 1-STAR REVIEWS. When I first moved into this storage facility, the promo offer was misleading—but I overlooked it because of the location’s convenience. That was my first mistake. The gate was outdated (red flag #1), but I figured I’d only need it for two months. Life happened, and it ended up being longer. Still, I paid every single month on time. My storage unit held just a few bags, two boxes, and a vacuum-sealed mattress—not even close to filling the unit. When it was time to move out, I was disgusted. My belongings were covered in thick pollen and spiderwebs—completely unprotected from the elements. I had to bring water from my car and use a towel just to clean things off before loading them into my U-Haul. I submitted my move-out notice on-site before I even left the parking lot. Then I was told I needed to take photos and sweep the unit to get my $30 deposit back. That’s laughable. After the condition I found my stuff in, the last thing I was doing was cleaning for them. I paid for storage, not to be a janitor. Now, I’m getting messages from the manager saying I owe another month because I didn’t take a picture? Absolutely not. I followed procedure, confirmed my move-out, and I refuse to be scammed into paying for time I wasn’t there. $160/month for dirty, poorly maintained units, false promos, and then threats of extra charges over a photo? Unacceptable. Next stop: BBB. And now I’m being told I “left a mess”? Funny—how would you know that if you needed a photo from me to confirm the move-out? Make it make sense. There wasn’t even enough in the unit to create a mess. A couple bags, a vacuum-sealed mattress, and two boxes—none of which were opened or unpacked. If anything was left behind, it was the pollen and spiderwebs your facility failed to keep out in the first place.

I have to say I got fortunate when I reached out to Cardinal Storage on Rt29 for our 1st storage rental. From beginning of the rental process to move in day was excellent & worry-free. Sterling, 1 of the owners was kind, caring and thoroughly explained everything re: the space & their location. Highly recommend Cardinal if you're ever in need of storage.
