I took a unit here right after Hurricane Helene due to the low price I was promised would not increase. After 3 months I was notified that my storage fee was going to double! I was planning on canceling but then the storage company was sold to Extra Space and my monthly fee stayed at where it was until 2 months later when I get another notification that my monthly fee was going to increase by double. It’s ridiculous to think that with so many storage places popping up that rent should need to increase so much! Also, the door to access my unit had a sign that always said that the keypad doesn’t work. That sign has been up for months and it makes access to my unit a pain because I always have to park on the other side to get inside then walk around to open the exterior door that’s near my unit. It’s such a pain. When I decided to cancel my initial they offered me a small discount to stay but it wasn’t enough to justify my inconvenience and I felt it was just overpriced. Kayla, the company representative, was so nice and understanding and explained the difficulties of getting the door keypad fixed. She tried her best to keep me as a tenant but with such a small discount, unfortunately I had to turn her offer down. At the price I was paying initially, I would have stayed because it was always a clean place.

Had rented 2 units here for over 6+ months then they doubled the rent. With only 2 weeks notice. Spoke with management on site. Attempted to help some but was going to talk to corporate and call me back. Never called. May be ok for a short rental but be ready to move out quick with the aggressive rate increases.

I’ve been renting for three whole months from this facility and just got notice of a FORTY-SEVEN PERCENT INCREASE—yes, nearly HALF my monthly rental rate increase. What will it be in another 3 months? I’ll be making plans to move my things and leave more bad (honest) reviews on every site possible. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SCAMMERS.
