Would have been a much higher review, but the regional manager cared more about being “by the book” than keeping a customer happy. I had moved out 2 days after the month ended and they refused to give me a break on pro-rating my move out and refunding some of the money. They kept the entire months rent. What else can you expect from a corporate controlled company? Treating customers like they are part of the bottom line just to help shareholders rather than having raving reviews that speak about how great a place is. There was also a major issue with bugs in the unit and some of my items were damaged from ants, moths, and even some spider webs all over my stuff. I had another unit during this same time with another storage company and this was not happening at the other spot. They did attempt to put pest control at the property while I was there but clearly it was not sufficient. Lastly they advertise lower costs than what they actually charge. They force you to have their insurance, or a homeowners policy to show that your stuff is covered, and that added an extra 30% to the cost each month. If you’re in the middle of moving, are you actually going to have a homeowners policy? This also begs the question of if their first month is actually free? Free implies $0 and not paying for hidden fees. I would not recommend using cubesmart for renters in the future. Be Smart and rent from a local mom and pop place that actually cares about you and your friend’s future business.

Been having a storage unit since February and have had no issues, Rose is awesome and always keeping me updated with any changes they have as far as pricing and even gave me a credit $ to give me a months time to decide if i wanted to keep my unit. Which i did :) she is sweet and very understanding of any issues i had.
