Popular place
This is a great location - easy to get in and out and very nice management. There was quite a bit of traffic as we unloaded my stuff so I think others feel this way as well. There were plenty of cameras and lights around so I feel like even if I go there outside of office hours, I'll feel safe. And all this for a decent rental rate.

Safe and secure
Clean, organized and safe but not quite 5'x10' ... I was told it was "approximately 5x10" and that it stated so in the fine print.

Helpful super-accomodating staff!
Staff made a number of accomodations to my needs, taking the time to show me various units. My driveup unit was clean, access is easy, and the location is perfect for me! Communication is made simple through phone and email. Big help to me and far more economiccal than a pod unit.

A good value, with some caveats
If you, like me, are in the market for the largest storage-unit sizes available â€“ and also one directly accessible via open driveway that can readily handle moving vans â€“ CubeSmart's Menchaca location is one of the best values in the Austin area (but you might wanna prepare yourself for some sticker shock). It's a somewhat older, single-floor facility, but that's specifically what I needed, and in particular a large unit with drive-up access. I have only a few complaints thus far: they have online, contactless move-in â€“ in theory â€“ except they failed to send me the code for the temporary lock on my unit. If I'd gone over there after office hours, I wouldn't have been able to get in. Also, the driveway is rather curiously bumpy â€“ feels like the original owners were too cheap to flatten the site prior to pouring its concrete. Finally, it's REALLY far south â€“ only a mile or two north of the Hays County border.
